Police are now investigating a case of animal cruelty after a poor dog was found to be burnt and dumped alone in Davenport.
Public works employees found the dead animal in the area where Miller Avenue and South Concord is on Wednesday morning (July 19th, 2017).
Animal control, unfortunately, could not find a microchip or a license tag that could track down the owner of the dog. The dog’s breed is believed to be a Rottweiler.
Hopefully whoever is responsible for this poor dog’s death will be found as soon as possible and given justice! If you have any information, please contact the Davenport police department.
